Available in single‑layer PE flat pouches and composite flat pouches, they can be produced as pre‑formed bags or as continuous‑roll flat pouches, making them a fundamental, widely used bag style in the packaging industry.

The bag body is flat and straight, with no side folds or self-supporting bottom; the bottom is heat-sealed, and the top features an open filling opening. Standard flat bags have no sealed edges and require a heat-sealing machine, cable ties, or adhesive tape to seal after filling. They can be produced as pre‑formed flat bags with three sealed sides, or as flat bags cut from tubular film. The bag structure remains smooth and flat, making it easy to stack without taking up much space.

Common Material Selection

PE single-layer flat pouch: soft and transparent, low-cost, suitable for product inner packaging, storage, hardware, fresh produce, and short-term portioning of ordinary food items.
PET/PE composite flat pouch: superior moisture resistance, available in full-color printing, ideal for packaging dry goods and snacks.
PET/VMPET/PE aluminum‑laminated flat pouch: light‑proof and moisture‑resistant; suitable for powders, herbal medicines, and more.
