Product Description
A spout pouch, also known as a pour‑spout bag, is a flexible packaging bag in which a composite spout is heat‑sealed directly to the pouch body. It combines the lightweight convenience of soft packaging with the pouring and drinking functionality of bottle‑type containers, stands upright on its own, and is ideal for filling, storing, and dispensing liquids, pastes, and semi‑fluids, thereby widely replacing certain plastic and glass bottles.
It mainly consists of two parts: the pouch body and a composite spout (with either a screw cap or a flip-top lid). The pouch body typically features a stand-up design, allowing it to remain upright after filling. The spout is securely heat-sealed to the pouch wall, ensuring excellent sealing performance. Pouch bodies can be configured as standard stand-up pouches or eight-side-seal pouches; spouts come in various diameters, with smaller openings suited for beverages and larger openings ideal for pastes, sauces, and granular materials. Upon leaving the factory, the product can be supplied with an outer seal or directly sealed with a screw cap.

Nozzle styles: screw‑cap nozzle, flip‑top nozzle, wide‑mouth filling nozzle, child‑proof cap; pouch construction: windowed, frosted or glossy finish, aluminum‑coated/aluminum foil; leak‑proof design available; high‑temperature retort‑resistant spout pouches also available.
Common Composite Material Selection
Transparent PET/PE: Allows you to see the contents—beverages, fruit juices, and drinking water.
Aluminum‑coated PET/VMPET/PE: light‑proof and oxygen‑barrier, suitable for enzymes, sauces, and detergents.
Aluminum foil high-barrier PET/AL/PE: high barrier and light‑proof, suitable for nutrient solutions and paste‑like materials.
Steam‑cooked PET/NY/RCPP with a high‑temperature‑resistant spout: suitable for high‑temperature sterilization; ideal for soups, baby food, and cooked sauces.
