Four-side seal bags, also known as four-sided sealed bags, feature all four edges—top, bottom, left, and right—thermally sealed. Typically constructed with a double‑layer film that is heat‑sealed along all four sides, these bags maintain a neat, square shape and offer exceptionally strong sealing performance. Unlike three-side seal bags, which are sealed on only three sides, four-side seal bags have their entire perimeter thermally sealed, providing greater structural integrity and making them ideal for small to medium‑sized products with stringent sealing requirements.

Product Description

Four-side seal bags, also known as four-sided sealed bags, feature all four edges—top, bottom, left, and right—thermally sealed. Typically constructed with a double‑layer film that is heat‑sealed along all four sides, these bags maintain a neat, square shape and offer exceptionally strong sealing performance. Unlike three-side seal bags, which are sealed on only three sides, four-side seal bags have their entire perimeter thermally sealed, providing greater structural integrity and making them ideal for small to medium‑sized products with stringent sealing requirements.

The pouch is fully heat-sealed on all four sides, with no open bottom; filling is typically performed through the center of the pouch or via a pre‑provided opening, followed by heat sealing to seal the closure. The overall pouch shape is neat and square, with even stress distribution along the sealed edges, delivering excellent burst resistance and leak‑proof performance. For certain four‑side‑seal pouches with a back seam (back‑sealed four‑side seal), a folded back seal runs down the middle, making it a highly conventional design for powder and granule sachets. Empty pouches stack flat, minimizing storage space, and are compatible with high‑speed, fully automated packaging equipment.

Easy-tear notch, serrated tear edge, hanging hole, matte finish, partial window, hot stamping, and laser‑etched effects; available in back-seal four‑side seal and non‑back‑seal flat four‑side seal.

Common Composite Material Selection

Transparent PET/PE: Allows visibility of contents; suitable for seasoning packets and daily-use items.
Aluminum‑coated PET/VMPET/PE: light‑proof and moisture‑resistant, suitable for powder, granule, and health‑supplement sachets.
Aluminum‑foil high‑barrier PET/AL/PE: Total light‑proof preservation, ideal for pharmaceuticals, health supplements, and highly active ingredients.
Steam‑and‑boil PET/NY/RCPP: Resistant to high‑temperature sterilization; suitable for cooked foods, braised dishes, and small pouches for high‑temperature steaming.
