There are four main methods for making bags:
(1) Three-sided sealing involves sealing all four sides of the packaging bag. The front and back dimensions are both finished product sizes, giving the package a cohesive overall appearance; the design is highly imaginative, with consistent styling on both the front and back.
Since the front and rear surfaces have identical dimensions, the front surface can be designed first, ensuring that the rear surface echoes the front.
During plate-making, the front and back sides should be arranged on the same register cylinder.
The bottom edge at the center is sealed. The front side is sized to the finished dimensions, while the back side is divided into two equal parts, with their combined width matching the front’s width. In typical designs, the front and back are laid out as a single integrated piece, with 1 cm margins on both the left and right sides; moreover, the front and back are printed on the same register cylinder.
