　　First, be careful not to let sharp objects scratch the vacuum‑sealed bag. It’s recommended to work on a clean, dust‑free surface. If the items you’re storing include buttons, zippers, or other hard components, fold them inward before placing them in the storage bag. For clothing, quilts, and similar items, try to pack them as tightly as possible, keeping them at least 3–5 centimeters away from the sealing zipper. Avoid forcing large items into the bag. To maintain hygiene around the sealing zipper, if fibers or dust get inside, it can compromise the seal; we recommend wiping the area with a damp cloth to clean it thoroughly before closing the zipper.

　　Secondly, when using the vacuum pump, screw the pump’s threaded connector all the way down until it presses against the red rubber sealing gasket at the vacuum port, ensuring an airtight seal. Typically, a large bag requires 3 to 5 minutes of pumping; you’ll usually need to pump three to five hundred times before noticeable compression is achieved. After pumping, be sure to re‑check the seal to confirm it’s properly sealed.
